Annual, Renewable Program Covering Your Most Common Pests
Homeowners have enough to worry about without having to concern themselves with annual and seasonal pest invasions. Even if your home is brand new, airtight, and you’re a vigilant homeowner – at the very least you will still encounter pests on the outside of your structure. In the colder months insects, mice and other rodents will try to enter your home for warmth. In the warmer months, pest like wasps and yellow jackets can make nests in the soffits of your home, or any other overhangs. Regardless of how vigilant you are, pests will invade. Dana Pest Control and K9 Scent detection in an effort to provide much-needed peace of mind year-round, has devised the DPP (Dana Protection Program). Instead of scheduling a service appointment each season of the year, or with every pest discovery or encounter, homeowners can now hire Dana K9 to perform regular checks on their home throughout the year. Technicians will also be on call, in the event of your discovering a new pest problem.
What is the Dana Protection Program?
The Dana Protection Program is, quite simply, the best value for your dollar. The DPP is an annual program, renewable from year to year, which covers the most common pests you may encounter. This includes, for example, wasps and yellow jackets on the structure of the house (they must be on the structure – If you have them in the ground, in bushes, etc., there will be a nominal charge). The DPP does not cover termites, bedbugs, over-wintering pests (lady beetles, stink bugs, etc.), or larger animals. However, we can certainly provide service for these other pests separately from this contract, and at a very affordable rate. In addition to inspections and pest removal, minor exclusions are included whereby the technician will seal any small openings for mice etc., using caulking and/or insulating foam. Any additional exclusion needed beyond that will be priced accordingly and determined on our first visit.
What is Involved in the Dana Protection Program?
On our first visit, the technician will perform an inspection of the entire house, and will treat any active pests covered by the plan, and also perform preventative treatment for any inactive pests. From start to finish, this first visit usually takes about an hour or so. After the initial visit, homeowners will receive two more scheduled service calls, spaced throughout the year. These two visits are generally exterior inspections, to be sure no additional pests have begun to invade from the exterior of the home. If at any time you have a pest problem for covered pests, we are on call. This is no additional charges for these covered pests, and call-backs are unlimited.

Do you have any pets? For homeowners with pets and children, we take the greatest care with all of our products and equipment. Is the attic accessible? We customarily check the attic, and any crawl spaces, etc. as long as they are accessible. Will the house be available before you move in? If so, will you be meeting us, or will someone else? If it is someone else, we would need a contact number to arrange access.
